The In Between

Mike and I have been in a waiting season for several situations in our lives. We thank God for handling and bringing them about in His perfect timing. There are times we could get down about the “wait” but we remind each other of our past and how God remains faithful beyond belief! Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us…” We choose to thank God for what He is doing, knowing that we are growing in our faith. His result will be better than anything we can imagine. In Bridge we sang, “The In Between,” written by Sherome and Jenni.

The other side is coming soon

It’s in the in-between that You’re working

In-between that You’re moving

In-between is where Im learning Lord

The In-between is where I’m growing

Things can change in an instant

When all feels lost, there’s a breakthrough

That you’ve always come through.”

How many times have I looked back in my life and seen God's divine intervention that made things happen? Isaiah 55:8-9, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the Lord. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.'" God works in our lives abundantly exceedingly above anything we can expect and He continues to. Thanks be to God!
